They want to spend to compensate for inequality. They want to spend to "improve the economy." They want to spend to do foreign intervention and colonization, in order to prop up local economy, when they're afraid the national economy is weak, in the name of foreign aid. Then they start inventing new problems and new products to solve the invented problems, and advocate that it's everyone's "right" to receive said product.

How do conservatives, free marketers, libertarians and even the theocrats deal with this apparent tendency? How do you prevent dictatorial rule by capitalists who provide only red and blue actors to vote for?
