Not sure how it is for the UK, but I'm fairly certain that most Americans and Canadians are not at all interested in being shipped over there to fight and die for someone else's land.
They got spoiled from the interventions in the Crimean War, WW1 and WW2.
I wonder what those horrible Russians will do? Force the UK government to house Russians for free at taxpayers'expense? Create enclaves where Russians don't have to integrate into British society? Arrest Brits for criticizing Russians on social media? Allow Russian grooming gangs unfettered access to rape British children?
